SCORE Newburyport Branch participated in “Helping Hands – Celebrate the Spirit of Volunteerism” EXPO. The event was sponsored The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce & Industry, The Newburyport Public Library, Newburyport Daily News and the Mayor's Office, City of Newburyport. One day event was on November 7th and took place at Newburyport Public Library.

There are over 100 non-profit organizations in the Greater Newburyport community whose work contributes greatly to the quality of life and fabric of the community. SCORE is proud to be part of this community.

Bahar Thompson, Dick Tarbox and Dennis Assad attended to the SCORE booth.  Mayor John Moak and Patricia Singer, Director of Economic Development visited the booth. The team introduced SCORE services to the community also encouraged volunteers to sign up as counselors.
